Safira Magomedova

Safira has a B.F.A in Interior Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in Dagestan, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Her travels inspire her to challenge her own aesthetic by experiencing diversity. Apart from her design ambitions, she spends her time cooking new dishes and traveling with family.

"My goal as a designer is to create spaces that stem from fine art and transcend into various human environments. We learn from experiencing the environment around us hands on. My ultimate goal is to design uplifting spaces, which invigorate people’s expectations, and imaginations.

I have a strong interest hospitality & retail with a special focus on culture but my skills extend to many areas. I have experience in hospitality, community-based projects, retail, residential, restaurant, and office design. My interests are in all aspects of design from initial research through to concept development and construction documents. I also have experience with fine art production & the real-estate investing process.

My strengths are in translating concept throughout interiors, graphic design, hand rendering as well as computer rendering utilizing Revit. I am highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Revit, AutoCAD, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, & Sketchup.

I participate in events with ASID of Georgia as well as other events pertaining to Socio-Economic well-being practices. This has strengthened my communication and networking skills and facilitated collaboration across many disciplines. In the near future I hope to acquire LEED accreditation and become NCIDQ certified.
